I like the 90s grunge style revival

Remember this?! And all this..
The 90s were gooood. Most of us have that heart-warming nostalgia so embrace it now as grunge is back. So it might not be that pretty but it certainly is very cool and pretty perfect for summer and festivals alike!

Think eclectic, oversize, worn faded denim & chambray, bare tummies and plaid. It's time to bring back those much-loved 90's classics

Think: eclectic, fun, funky, affordable, casual chic, unkempt, with a palette of maroon, forest green, indigo, brown, and black and white.

Get yourself some: drainpipes, oversize sweaters, black leather jackets, little patterned rucksacks, bike shorts, penny loafers, leggings, shortalls, cross necklaces & earrings, platforms & flatforms, slap bands (remember them? good fun), railroad stripes, Disney sweaters, band t-shirts, bowler hats, baby pink hair, bum-bags (or 'fanny pack' over the pond... I can't not giggle).

Clueless
My own personal items I include in the 90s trend are tartan skirts - I've always loved them, think: 90s classic film, Clueless, and that great preppy style (or wear them in grungy way, your call) - and Ray-Ban wayfarers - I think these go perfectly but they're not actually 90s at all as the classic style's long-lasting popularity dropped at start of the 90s (in favour of wraparound frames)but who says fashion must be historically accurate!

You could also throw some Kinderwhore style in there, which is basically child-like outfits worn in a grungy way (pan collars, babydoll dresses, ripped fishnets, long socks, Mary Jane's etc.)

So there you go - that's my snippet of what I love about this great throwback trend and hopefully some inspiration for you!

OK OK, here's a little more to keep you going...

And finally, let's agree to stay well away from these not-so-cool 90s moments...

P.S. Lol...
